Photo walks are fun! We met at the lifeguard stand and immediately started talking about camera settings for low light action photos. The key for photographs with low light is to keep the shutter speed somewhere around 1/1000 and start increasing the ISO. Also, make sure the F stop is around 4 or 5 to maximize the light intake. These settings will get you in the ballpark of a clear action photo. So the photo walk was a success. We were worried about the rain but the clouds cleared up and everyone had a good time. We shot the sunset facing towards American Village and the colors were fairly decent. The wind was non existent and the lighting was perfect for some awesome reflections. The bridge was cool too! Thanks Hope for being a great model with an umbrella. Araha beach is a great place for photographs and a fun area to bring a family. Here are a few of my photographs taken at Araha Beach. Hope to see you at the next Okinawa Photography Tour and leave a comment if you love Okinawa.
